AG Healey To Host National Conference On Cybercrime

NORWOOD (AP) — Democratic Attorney General Maura Healey is hosting a three-day forum focused on the best ways to fight the growing problem of cybercrime in the U.S.

The National Cyber Crime Conference kicks off Monday morning at the Four Points by Sheraton in Norwood.

Healey says the conference will help to provide law enforcement, prosecutors and investigators with the tools and information to help combat cyber criminals.

Assistant Director of the Cyber Division of the FBI James Trainor will deliver the keynote address at the conference.

Trainor is responsible for leading the FBI's efforts to identify, pursue and defeat cyber foes targeting global U.S. interests.

The conference is expected to draw more than 600 law enforcement officers, prosecutors and investigators from across the nation.
