Credit Card Skimmers Found On 2 Dover, NH Gas Station Pumps

DOVER, N.H. (CBS) -- Credit card skimmers have been found on pumps at two gas stations in Derry, New Hampshire, police say.

Employees at two Shell stations on Longhill Road and Central Avenue discovered the devices during routine inspections on Saturday.

Police say they have seized the skimmers, which are used to illegally record card user's financial information when credit or debit purchases are made. It's unclear how long they were on the pumps.

Investigators are urging customers who've used the pumps to check their financial statements for any fraudulent activity.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Dover Crimeline at (603) 749-6000 or visit their website.
