Flower Heart Display Honors COVID Deaths And Lives Saved At Tufts Medical Center

BOSTON (CBS) – Tufts Medical Center is featuring a somber display as it reflects on a year of treating patients during the COVID pandemic.

The hospital created a heart display made of blue and white flowers.

White flowers included in the heart represented the 102 patients who died at the hospital from coronavirus.

The blue flowers represent the 923 lives saved at Tufts over the last year.
