Newton's John Krasinski Throwing Virtual Prom For Class Of 2020

BOSTON (CBS) - Newton native John Krasinski wants to make sure the high school classes of 2020 still get to have an iconic rite of passage even as schools are closed because of the coronavirus pandemic.
He posted a Tik-Tok video on his Instagram inviting all 2020 high school seniors to join him for a virtual prom Friday night.
Krasinski will be the DJ.
It starts at 8 p.m.
Krasinski is calling it the SGN prom, named after his popular new web series Some Good News.
