Coronavirus Cases In Massachusetts Now At 164

BOSTON (CBS) - The number of coronavirus cases in Massachusetts jumped to 164 Sunday, up from 138, according to the Department of Public Health. Of those, 13 people were in the hospital.

There has been community-transmission in seven counties: Berkshire, Essex, Hampton, Norfolk, Middlesex, Suffolk, and Worcester.

Forty-five cases in Massachusetts have now been confirmed by the CDC and 119 are considered presumptive positive.

Middlesex County has the most cases with 75.

Of the state's cases, 108 are linked to a Biogen conference in Boston at the end of February.
