'Cannonball' Discovery In Concord Turns Out To Be Ornamental Piece
CONCORD (CBS) - The State Police bomb squad was called into Concord Wednesday morning after the discovery of what initially appeared to be an old cannonball.
It was found during a construction project in a backyard at Lang and Monument streets near the historic Concord Revolutionary War battleground.

Police evacuated the area as a precaution. No one was hurt.
The "cannonball" turned out to be an ornamental piece.
