Commuter Rail Service Suspended Between Lynn And North Station

BOSTON (AP) — Service on the Newburyport/Rockport commuter rail will be suspended between Lynn and North Station this weekend because of construction.

Inbound trips will be replaced Saturday and Sunday with shuttle buses from Lynn to the MBTA Wonderland subway station for connections to the Blue Line and service into Boston.

Outbound passengers will have to take the Blue Line to Wonderland where their trip will be replaced with shuttle buses to Lynn.

There will be no direct service to or from North Station.

Customers are encouraged to allow approximately 45 minutes of travel time from Boston to Lynn.

Outbound trains will depart at their scheduled times.
