Commuter Rail Contractor Leaves Mountain Of Snow In Weymouth Yard

WEYMOUTH (CBS) – Workers have been busy digging out the MBTA and Commuter Rail, but one family says the dig out is happening at their expense.

In all the years the McLellan family has lived next to the Weymouth Landing Station, they've never had to deal with a mountain of snow in their yard.

"They used a front end loader and they packed it all in there," John McLellan said, "because apparently my yard is now a snow farm."

The pile is about 20 feet high, and underneath it is the home's septic system. "It's going to break something," he says.

McLellan says he went out to confront the workers.

"They were none too happy that we told them to stop," McLellan said. "I was inconveniencing them, whoops."
