College Student's Hibachi Grill Blamed For 4-Alarm Dorm Fire

HANOVER, N.H. (CBS) – Investigators say students using a hibachi-style grill caused a fire at a Dartmouth College dormitory over the weekend.

The charcoal grill was apparently left unattended on a section of the roof outside a dorm room window in Morton Hall.

All students were able to get out of the building unharmed when flames broke out early Saturday morning.

Some students have had to move to temporary housing because of the damage caused by the four-alarm fire.

Officials are still interviewing witnesses as part of their investigation into the fire.
