Missing Boston Cockapoo Reunited With Owner

BOSTON (CBS) -- A three-year-old cockapoo, which went missing in the Boston's South End on Thursday afternoon, has been found and reunited with her owner.

Susie-Q was on her regular walk with another neighborhood dog when their handler went inside a home on West Springfield Street to collect a third dog.

The veteran handler was only away from Susie-Q for a few minutes. When he returned, the neighbor's dog was still on its leash tied to the gate but Susie-Q was gone.

Amanda Robbins, the dog's owner, told WBZ-TV Friday night that Susie Q is back home, safe and sound.

"Someone dropped her at (the) corner of Tremont (Street) and West Springfield (Street)," she says. "People saw her running wild. A young couple who had seen the fliers grabbed her and called me. She is dry and smells like smoke, but she is fine."
