Claremont, NH, Police Dispatcher Charged With Sex Assault

CLAREMONT, N.H. (AP) – New Hampshire state police say they have arrested a Claremont police dispatcher on charges of aggravated felony sex assault and incest.

Authorities say they took 53-year-old James Boisclair of Claremont into custody Wednesday after a brief investigation.

Sullivan County Attorney Marc Hathaway confirms Boisclair was working as a police dispatcher at the time of his arrest. Hathaway said Thursday he does not know Boisclair's current job status.

Police say Boisclair was held overnight at the Sullivan County House of Corrections and was scheduled to be arraigned Thursday.

It was not immediately known whether he had a lawyer.
