Child Injured By Aerosol Can Explosion

BILLERICA (CBS) -- A 12-year child suffered second degree burns after a can of bug spray exploded.

A can of bug spray rolled into a camp fire at the Lampson Lane home. The can overheated and blew up, injuring the boy standing nearby.

The boy was medflighted to Massachusetts General Hospital for treatment of the second degree burns.

The incident is under investigation by Billerica authorities.
