Chelsea Police Arrest 15 In Prostitution Sting Called 'Deflate Date'

CHELSEA (CBS) – Fifteen people were arrested in a Chelsea prostitution sting operation that the department called "Deflate Date."

The Chelsea Police Department used undercover officers to target prostitutes and "Johns" on Friday night.

"The department has prioritized this enforcement effort and will continue these operations throughout the year to send a clear message of zero tolerance," Police Chief Brian Kyes said.

Names of those arrested in the prostitution sting were not released.

Police urged anyone who witnesses prostitution to call 911 or the 24-hour Chelsea Police Department hotline at (617) 466-4800.
