Charter School Debate: Yes Or No On Question 2?

BOSTON (CBS) – On Election Day, Massachusetts voters will decide whether or not to lift the cap on charter schools.

The new law would:

  • Allow 12 new charters each year over the current limit
  • State Board of Education would review applications for new charters
  • Students are admitted by lotteries set by the charter schools
