Elderly Man Dies In Charlton Fire
CHARLTON (CBS) -- One person is dead after a fire broke out in a building in Charlton Wednesday afternoon.
The Massachusetts State Fire Services office and State Police confirmed the death of an elderly man as a result of the blaze.
Firefighters were called to the location on Berry Corner Road around 1:30 p.m.
The state fire marshal, Worcester County detectives and crime scene services were called to the scene by the Charlton Fire Department.
The origin and cause of the fire remains under investigation.
