Celtics Trade 31st, 35th Picks For 2019 1st Rounder

BOSTON (CBS) -- The Boston Celtics have actually made a trade on draft night. For more future draft picks.

The C's send picks No. 31 and No. 35 to the Memphis Grizzlies for a 2019 first-round pick, originally owned by the Los Angeles Clippers.

Much like Boston's second two first-round selections (Guerschon Yabusele and Ante Zizic, who will likely be spending the next year or two overseas), this was made with an eye to the future.

The Celtics did make a pick at No. 31, Michigan State power forward Deyonta Davis, but he was quickly sent to Memphis.
