Avery Bradley Hopes To Play vs. Pacers Despite Sprained Wrist

BOSTON (CBS) -- Avery Bradley suffered a sprained right wrist on Sunday, but the Celtics guard hopes to play Wednesday night when Boston hits the road for the first time this season.

Bradley was limited at Tuesday's practice and told reporters he sprained his wrist and a couple of his fingers on his right hand during Sunday's loss to San Antonio. He sounds optimistic that he'll suit up Wednesday night when the Celtics play the Pacers in Indiana.

"It's still a little sore... I'm going to try to go out here and practice and do as much as I can and continue to get treatment and hopefully I'm ready for [Wednesday's game]," Bradley said, according to ESPNBoston.com's Chris Forsberg.

Bradley scored a season-high 18 points on 7-for-18 shooting in Sunday's 95-87 loss to the Spurs at the TD Garden. Boston's starting shooting guard is averaging 11.7 points per game over the first three games of the season, shooting 37 percent from the floor.
