Celtics @ 7: Breaking Down Jabari Parker With Steve Wiseman

This morning's "Celtics @ 7" (hopefully) wrapped up Rajon Rondo's BirthdayGate controversy after some parting words from team president of basketball operations Danny Ainge this week with "Toucher and Rich". Host Adam Kaufman reiterated his thoughts on the incident and feels the situation was blown out of proportion, even if Rondo was at fault in his judgement to willingly defy his employers.

Kaufman also looked back at Friday's win over the Nets in Paul Pierce's second Garden return. The C's played well defensively, Rondo nearly delivered a triple-double, and Brooklyn stuggled mightily from behind the arc.

In the second segment, Duke basketball beat writer Steve Wiseman from the Durham Herald-Sun joined the show to offer his thoughts on NBA prospects Jabari Parker and Rodney Hood. Parker is a consensus top 5 pick and arguably the most ready to make the jump to the pros among the kids expected to leave college this spring.

The show wrapped with reaction to the Celts' reported consideration to retire Ainge's number for his long-time contributions to the organization.
