Woman Killed In Carver Rollover Crash

CARVER (CBS) -- A woman was killed Wednesday morning in a single-vehicle rollover crash, the third fatal accident in Carver in three days.

Carver Police said the crash happened around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday near the Carver-Plymouth town line on Tremont Street. The 19-year-old driver was ejected from her vehicle.

The woman was taken to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, where she later died. She has not yet been identified.

Massachusetts State Police and Carver Police are investigating the crash, and Carver Police said more details may be released later.

In a press release about the crash, Carver Police Chief Marc Duphily reminded drivers to drive carefully, avoid distractions, and slow down.

"Getting to your destination earlier is not worth anyone's life," the release read.

The cause of the crash is not yet known.
