PEABODY (CBS) – The cleanup continued Thursday night after a car drove through the front window of Kappy's liquor store in Peabody.

Surveillance video shows two customers wheeling a shopping cart through the exit just moments before.

Less than 10 seconds later the car, driven by an 83-year-old Danvers man came crashing through, crushing beams as shattered glass showered across the floor.

The car sat motionless as patrons and workers ran to the front, but then the driver fully reversed, before barreling once again through the window even faster.

No Kappy's employees or customers inside the Andover Street store were hurt, but that driver was taken away by ambulance to be treated.

The crash is under investigation.
