Great White Shark Detected Off Cape Cod Beach
EASTHAM (CBS) – A great white shark was detected in Cape Cod Bay Wednesday.
"Cisco" was pinged at the entrance to Wellfleet Harbor, off the beach in North Eastham.

He is about 8 feet long and weighs more than 360 pounds.
Cisco was tagged last October off Nantucket. He's named after Cisco Beach on the island, and for Cisco Brewery.

As of Wednesday evening, it looks like Cisco had moved on to the Gulf of Maine.

Global shark pinger OCEARCH says this isn't the first time sharks has been spotted in the area; they tracked a shark named Katharine in the region back in October 2014.
