Canton Man Accused Of Bringing Gun To Worcester School Acquitted

WORCESTER (CBS) – A Canton man accused of bringing a gun to his daughter's high school in Worcester has been found not guilty.

Worcester Police say in December, Jerome Weekes went to Doherty High after school was dismissed to search for a student who was having issues with his daughter.

Another student reported seeing a gun in Weekes' car. Weekes denied it and his lawyer said no gun was seen in surveillance videos.

The judge acquitted Weekes of all charges.
