Cambridge Murder Suspect Ordered Held Without Bail

CAMBRIDGE (CBS) – A suspect who allegedly murdered a man and left his body parts in two different Cambridge locations was ordered held without bail on Tuesday.

Carlos Colina, 32, was arraigned in Middlesex District Court on a murder charge after remains were found in a duffel bag on April 4.

Initially, Colina was charged with assault and battery causing serious bodily injury and improper disposal of a body.

But the charges were upgraded against Colina, who is accused of killing Jonathan Camilien, 26, of Somerville.

After being ordered held without bail on Tuesday, Colina is next scheduled to appear in court on May 13.
