CAMBRIDGE (CBS) -- A Medford man arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a car passenger in Cambridge is set to be arraigned on Monday.

Rooslin Altidor, 26, will face charges in Cambridge District Court related to the death of 31-year-old Rasaun Nichols, Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan said.

Nichols was the passenger in a car that was hit by five-to-eight gunshots near MIT on the night of August 12.

The car continued about a half-mile down Main Street toward Kendall Square, where the driver stopped to get help. Attempts to save Nichols were not successful.
