4 Hurt In Crash Involving MBTA Ride Bus In Burlington

BURLINGTON (CBS) – Four people were hurt when an MBTA The Ride bus collided with a car in Burlington Wednesday morning.

It happened at the intersection of Winn Street and Wyman Road around 8:45 a.m.

Four people, including both drivers and both passengers on the bus, were taken to local hospitals. None of the injuries were life-threatening, according to authorities.

Burlington Police said the driver of the car, a 72-year-old man from Natick, crossed the double yellow line and hit the bus.

There's no word yet on charges at this point in the investigation.

The Ride is an MBTA service for people with disabilities.
