Bull Gores Man, Officers Kill Animal

LITTLETON (CBS) – An 1,800 pounds bull charged and possibly broke a man's ribs on Saturday afternoon.

The incident occurred at the  Farmers Animal Auction house behind the Agway on Great Road., according Littleton Police Chief Matt King.

The 74-year-old victim has been taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to WBZ NewsRadio 1030.

The incident occurred around 3 p.m., according to police.

Officers were forced to shoot the bull when it charged them at the scene, according to King.
