6 Buildings Damaged In Manchester, NH Fire; 12 Families Displaced

MANCHESTER, NH (CBS) – A massive fire destroyed two buildings and damaged four others in Manchester Friday afternoon.

All off-duty firefighters were called after heavy fire was discovered at 232 and 234 Spruce Street. Three vehicles were also on fire.

Gusty winds caused the fire to spread to adjacent buildings.

The fire department said there were issues with water pressure in the area and water works was called in to divert water to the scene.

The cause of the fire is unknown.

No injuries were reported. The Red Cross is assisting the 12 families that have been displaced.
