Brush Fire Breaks Out Near I-93 Exit Ramp In Dorchester

DORCHESTER (CBS) - A brush fire broke out just off the Southeast Expressway in Dorchester at the start of rush hour early Wednesday morning.

The fire started right next to 93 north just after 5 a.m. near the exit 16 off ramp for Southampton Street.

State Police shut down the exit and firefighters quickly put out the fire before it could spread.

There's no word yet on how it started. No injuries have been reported.
