Bruins Land 14th Pick In NHL Draft

BOSTON (CBS) -- The Bruins had a 1 percent chance of landing the top pick in the NHL draft, and Saturday night's lottery did not yield any miracles.

Instead, Boston will pick 14th.

The Edmonton Oilers won the first pick and are expected to select center Connor McDavid of the Ontario Hockey League.

Boston University's standout center Jack Eichel is favored to go second to the Buffalo Sabres.

The draft will be held June 26-27 in Florida.
