David Krejci To Undergo Hip Surgery
BOSTON (CBS) -- The Boston Bruins held their annual breakup day on Monday, and for the second straight season it took place much earlier than the team would have liked.
It's at this time when the team's hidden injuries always come to light, and that was the case when David Krejci announced that he'll be needing hip surgery.
Krejci was asked about his health; he said he's going to need surgery on his hip.

Krejci finished the season with 63 points in 72 games played, ranking him in the top 20 in the NHL in points per game among players who skated in at least 70 games. It was the third-highest point total of any season in Krejci's career, despite missing 10 games.
The soon-to-be-30-year-old center is under contract with Boston through the 2020-21 season, carrying a $7.25 million cap hit per year. He's expected to be recovered from surgery in time for next season.
