Bruins Announce Preseason Schedule, Open In Montreal

BOSTON (CBS) -- Milan Lucic will get an early glimpse of his good friends Alexei Emelin and Dale Weise of the Montreal Canadiens before the regular season even begins.

Once again, the Boston Bruins will open their seven-game preseason schedule in Montreal, facing off against their biggest rival.

The Bruins announced their preseason schedule on Friday, which will begin in Montreal for the second year in a row. Here is the full preseason schedule:

Tuesday, Sept. 23: at Canadiens (Bell Centre, Montreal, 7:30 p.m.)

Wednesday, Sept. 24: vs. Washington (TD Garden, 7 p.m.)

Friday, Sept. 26: at Washington (Verizon Center, Washington, 7 p.m.)

Saturday, Sept. 27: at Detroit (Joe Louis Arena, Detroit, 7 p.m.)

Tuesday, Sept. 30: vs. New York Islanders (TD Garden, 7 p.m.)

Friday, Oct. 3: vs. New York Islanders (Webster Bank Arena, Bridgeport, CT, 7:30 p.m.)

Saturday, Oct. 4: vs. Detroit (TD Garden, 5:30 p.m.)
