Each brother lost a leg in the bombing and suffered extensive physical and psychological damage. Standing directly beside the second bomb, the brothers and their friends had gathered at the finish line to see their friend cross.

Available April 1, "Twice As Strong: 12 Seconds, Two Brothers And The Marathon That Changed Their Lives" focuses on the group of friends, scarred by the explosion in different ways. The four friends from Stoneham provide an account of that day and how it will affect the rest of their lives.

The book, co-written with David Smitherman, can be preordered on Amazon.
