Brookline Van Crash Knocks Down Poles, Blocks Traffic

BOSTON (CBS) - A van in Brookline crashed into a pair of light poles and flipped onto its side early Thursday afternoon.

Traffic has been narrowed to one lane in the 900 block of the eastbound side of Boylston Street.

The van hit the pole and rolled over onto its side.

Emergency crews are on the scene, and the driver was transported to an area hospital with what police say are "minor injuries."

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
