Brookline Girl Makes A Stand To Support Nation's Veterans

BROOKLINE (CBS) – A young girl from Brookline is making a simple gesture for a wonderful cause this Memorial Day weekend.

Emily Arsenault wanted to honor the nation's veterans Sunday.

So she set up a "pomanade" stand – selling pomegranate and limeade for 50 cents a cup at the Lawrence School playground.

Emily is giving all the money from her sales to the Wounded Warrior Project.

Business was brisk at Emily's pomanade stand. As of Sunday afternoon she had made more than $40 in sales to benefit veterans.
