1 Pedestrian Killed, 1 Injured By SUV In Brockton

BROCKTON (CBS) – Two people were hit by an SUV in Brockton late Monday night, killing one of the men. The pedestrians were hit just before midnight on Belmont Street.
Sixty-two year old Joseph Driscoll of Brockton was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital, but did not survive. The second man, whose identity is not being released, suffered non-life threatening injuries.
According to police, the men were crossing the street outside of a crosswalk. The driver of a white BMW stopped immediately after the crash and cooperated with police.
