British Airways Flight From Chicago To London Diverted To Logan Airport

BOSTON (CBS) -- A British Airways flight travelling from Chicago to London was diverted to Logan Airport in Boston Tuesday afternoon because of a technical issue.

A spokesperson from British Airways told WBZ-TV the plane was diverted as a precaution, and that it landed safely Tuesday afternoon.

Firefighters met the plane on the runway.

They said there were no customers on board the plane--only five members of the flight crew.
