Brides' March Against Domestic Violence

October is National Domestic Violence Prevention Month. In light of this, on this edition of Centro, we tell you about a recent event that took place in the city of Lawrence, in an effort to bring more awareness about this important issue. On Friday, September 26, women – young and old, men and even children joined the 12th Annual Brides' March Against Domestic Violence. The march was led by a collaboration of local organizations including the YWCA of Greater Lawrence and the Mayor's Health Task Force. WBZ's Yadires Nova-Salcedo talks to YWCA Director of Social Justice Initiatives and Coordinator of the Mayor's Health Task Force, Vilma Lora. Tune in!
