Bradley Jay: 'Emotions Ran High At Marathon Bombing Memorial Site.'

Throngs of folks from all over the world visited the memorial that was located at Copley Square in Boston near the site of the Boston Marathon day bombings. The response from international visitors was overwhelming, as was the reaction of locals who could not believe that this could happen in their back yard.
The somber installation was comprised of shrines made from objects that evoked intense response. It included a wall of running shoes, a display of ball caps, and four memorial crosses.
The mood at the memorial was very serious and emotions ranged from feelings of violation, to empathy for victims, to deep dark anger.
I spoke to a number of individuals at the site to give those who wanted a chance to articulate their feelings about the events related to the bombings and how they have affected them.
