Boston's Greenway Will Soon Have A 'Zipline'

BOSTON (CBS) - Boston's Rose Kennedy Greenway will soon have some high-flying fun in the form of a brand new zipline.

Named "The Z", it will span 220 feet and allow two different people to ride side by side.

"The Z" comes after the success of a pop-up zipline The Greenway hosted in Dewey Square Park in February.

"It was incredibly popular," Greenway Executive Director Jesse Brackenbury said.

"The Z" will also include a place for visitors to look at public art and experience a game of tetherball. Food trucks are nearby at the Greenway's existing Carousel and fountains.

Ticket sales from "The Z" will support the non-profit Greenway Conservancy. It is expected to be up and running in two weeks.
