Fenway-Area Bar Won't Face Sanctions After Fatal Thanksgiving Shooting

BOSTON (CBS) – A Fenway-area bar will not be punished after a man was shot and killed nearby in the early morning hours of Thanksgiving.

MBTA conductor Jephthe Chery was killed outside of "Who's On First?" on Yawkey Way around 2 a.m. Thanksgiving morning.

The Boston Licensing Board said during a December 18 meeting that it was considering whether to take action against the establishment, which has been punished in the past.

Chery's mother attended the meeting and said she was furious "Who's On First?" hadn't been shut down.

But on Wednesday, the board voted and determined there were no violations that took place on the night of Chery's death.
