Boston Sports Clubs Owner Files For Chapter 11 Bankruptcy

BOSTON (CBS) - The owner of Boston Sports Clubs has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

The move allows parent company Town Sports International to keep operating while it works out a plan to pay its creditors.

Boston Sports Club faced a lawsuit earlier this year when it said it would continue charging members while their facilities were shut down.

The company changed course and froze all memberships.
