Boston School Worker Facing Police Investigation

BOSTON (CBS) – A worker at a Roxbury school is off the job and facing a police investigation.

A spokesman for Boston Public Schools says a staff member reported seeing the worker interacting with a student in a way that made them uncomfortable.

The alleged incident happened at the Higginson-Lewis School in Roxbury.

Principal Joy Salesman-Oliver informed parents of the investigation through a robocall.

"Obviously, we take this incredibly seriously," Salesman-Oliver said. "We will always act quickly to protect students."

Earlier this week, a teacher at another Boston school was accused of indecently assaulting a child at Boston Medical Center.
