Boston Police Investigate Fatal Shooting In Jamaica Plain

BOSTON (CBS) – Boston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man in Jamaica Plain early Sunday morning.

Officers responded to reports of two people shot just before 2 a.m. in the area of School and Arcadia streets in Jamaica Plain, police said.

Two 24-year-old men were found at the scene suffering from gunshot wounds.

Both victims were taken to Brigham and Women's Hospital, where one of the men was pronounced dead.

The second man suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said that at this point in the investigation, the incident does not appear to be random.

No further information was available on the circumstances of the shooting.
