Boston Man Charged With Assaulting Woman On Green Line Train

BROOKLINE (CBS) -- A 49-year-old Boston man has been charged with assaulting a woman on a Green Line train in Brookline last week.

Ismael Rodriguez is facing a charge of indecent assault and battery, according to the MBTA Transit Police Department website.

Transit police were called to the Brookline Village area around 6:45 a.m. on July 10. After the alleged assault, Rodriguez got off the train at Newton Centre.

Police say Rodriguez was spotted on the outbound platform at Brookline Village by the victim around 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday. She contacted police and officers located Rodriguez.

He is expected to be arraignment in Brookline District Court.
