Boston Lego Event Winner Will Land Master Builder Job

SOMERVILLE, Mass. (AP) — LEGOLAND Discovery Center Boston is hosting a two-day building competition to make one fan's dream of getting paid to work with Legos come true.

The company says it expects more than 100 Lego fanatics to compete in various rounds of construction challenges over the weekend that will test one's skill and creativity.

The event hosted at the Boston Public Library starting Saturday is free and open to the public. Spectators are encouraged to come and watch.

The winner will be rewarded with a full-time salaried job with the title of LEGOLAND Discovery Center Boston's Master Model Builder. This position is in charge of building new features, exhibitions and models at the center, which will open this May in Somerville.
