Coast Guard Rescues 6 After Boat Sinks In Boston Harbor

BOSTON (CBS) -- Six people were rescued from Boston Harbor early Sunday morning after their boat sank.

It happened at about 1:30 a.m. near Castle Island. The Coast Guard said someone saw the boat sinking and called 911.

"There was a boat taking on water fast in Dorchester Bay, looking like it was going to sink," Petty Officer Andrew Barresi told WBZ NewsRadio 1030.

The six people rescued were in the water near their partially submerged boat when the Coast Guard arrived.
