Major Water Main Break Sends Water Gushing Into Street In Boston's Financial District

BOSTON (CBS) – A major water main break in Boston's Financial District sent water gushing into the street Wednesday morning.

The break happened at the intersection of Congress and High Street.

Boston Water and Sewer crews are on scene making repairs.

The intersection was closed completely and drivers were urged to avoid the area.

One lane of traffic has since been reopened on Congress Street,
