Dozens Of Children Attend Easter Egg Hunt In Roxbury

ROXBURY (CBS) - Saturday was a perfect day for an Easter egg hunt in Roxbury.

City Councilor Kim Janey and Boston Mayor Marty Walsh joined families for the event at the Little Scobie Playground.

Children ran around the park looking for brightly-colored eggs. (WBZ-TV)

It's the 9th year the community has hosted the Easter egg hunt.

Mayor Walsh said it's important to take out time to give area children positive experiences.
