Boston Dance Teacher Charged With Sexually Assaulting 10-Year-Old Boy

BOSTON (CBS) -- A Boston dance instructor is charged with sexually assaulting a 10-year old boy multiple times. Wilson Anthony, 19, is accused of two counts of rape and two counts of indecent assault and battery. The District Attorney's office is concerned there could be more victims.

Police said the assaults were during private dance lessons that took place at Wilson's North End apartment.

Many residents at the Avenir Apartments on Canal Street were unfamiliar with Anthony, but were horrified at the allegations.

Detectives said the child took lessons from Anthony for two years. The family met him within the dance community. Anthony did not teach with a school or dance company; he was independent.

The alleged abuse took place between June and September of last year. The boy and his parents reported the abuse to police on Sunday.

Anthony attends Suffolk University. He is an Indonesian national. He was scheduled to return to his country March 10th. He is now held without bail.
