Boston College Beats Harvard 4-1 In NCAA Hockey

WORCESTER (AP) — Alex Tuch and Austin Cangelosi each scored two goals to help Boston College beat Harvard 4-1 on Friday night in the NCAA Northeast Regional semifinals.

The Eagles (27-7-5) advanced to play Minnesota-Duluth on Saturday night for a spot in the Frozen Four in Tampa, Florida. The Bulldogs beat defending NCAA champion Providence 2-1 in double overtime.

Thatcher Demkomade 32 saves for Boston College.

Seb Lloyd scored for Harvard (19-11-4).

Tuch opened the scoring at 7:59 of the first period, and Cangelosi made it 2-0 with 1:02 left in the period. Tuch at his second at 1:59 of the second, and Lloyd countered for Harvard at 9:50.

Cangelosi capped the scoring with a short-handed goal with 2:27 left in the third.
